THE MAGNET
Reached by boat in approximately 30 minutes, this dramatic offshore pinnacle rises from depths of over 80 meters to just beneath the surface, where crashing waves and powerful surges create an exhilarating diving environment that can even be felt at 15 meters below.
Divers typically make a negative entry to descend quickly to depths of 20–25 meters, where the real action begins. Schools of tuna, barracuda, and mackerel circle the pinnacle alongside frequent sightings of white-tip and black-tip reef sharks, creating an unforgettable pelagic experience.
When ocean conditions allow, divers can explore the entire pinnacle, including a cave at around 20 meters where white-tip reef sharks often rest while surrounded by vibrant marine life. Visibility generally ranges between 10–20 meters, depending on sea conditions and seasonal currents.
This is an adrenaline-rushing dive site recommended only for experienced divers due to its strong currents, deep waters, and dynamic ocean conditions.
The Cathedral
Anak Ewok is an advanced pinnacle dive site in Belongas Bay, Lombok, featuring steep walls descending to 50 meters and vibrant soft coral reefs. Known for strong currents and thrilling pelagic action, divers frequently encounter white-tip, black-tip, and grey reef sharks, along with tuna, barracuda, mackerel, and occasional eagle rays. A large underwater cave at 40 meters adds to the adventure, making this an adrenaline-filled scuba diving experience for experienced divers only
Blue Hole
Deep walls, crystal-clear visibility, and striking natural light create one of South Lombok’s most unique dive environments.
Gili Sarang
This island is little more than a massive rock rising from the open sea, surrounded by impressive pinnacles and giant boulders descending to around 40 meters. The reef is covered with colorful soft corals, creating a beautiful underwater landscape.
Although not as far offshore as The Magnet, this dive site still experiences strong surge and currents, with frequent sightings of giant trevally, mackerel, and white-tip, black-tip, and grey reef sharks.
When conditions are calmer, divers can also enjoy the smaller marine life such as nudibranchs, shrimps, scorpionfish, sweetlips, and surgeonfish.
